In-Depth Sinder App Review
In this Sinder app website review, we’ll be taking a look at this apparent Tinder look-alike. Even the logo on the Sinder app dating site looks similar to the Tinder one. The main question we’re all still wondering? Can the Sinder app live up to its competition’s standards, or is this dating service just another one of the poorly-designed cash grab trans hookup apps? Let’s find out!
As a free member, you’ll have a limited amount of available dating features on the Sinder app. The first limitation we encountered during our review was messaging. You can only send a few messages for free before you will be prompted to upgrade. Once you run out of messages, you can try your hand at the “Hot or Not” game. Free Sinder app users get 10 “Likes” per day; any more will require an upgrade. You can view profiles without upgrading, but if you want to see full-sized pictures, that will require a premium membership as well.
If you want to get the most out of the Sinder app, then upgrading your dating account is a necessity. Pricing varies, but fortunately, you can get a trial membership of the Sinder app for only $1.99, which should give you enough time to decide if upgrading is worth your hard-earned cash. With an upgraded dating account, you’ll have unlimited messaging abilities, be able to view full-sized photos, use the “Intellectual MATCH System,” view user photos, and also get direct access to a premium customer support assistant. Like most sites, extended plans will get you a better price per month, but you’ll have to pay more upfront.
Who Uses the Sinder App?
The Sinder app is a general dating service, so you can expect to meet most types of people on this service. There seemed to be a slightly more male audience compared to females on the Sinder app in our testing. Still, it means you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a match. Long-term relationships are definitely possible, but the majority of users seem to be interested in hooking up or casual dating, not serious commitments. If you decide to use the service for long-term relationships, then we recommend completely filling out your profile, as this will give you the best chances of finding a compatible match on the Sinder app. The only thing that caught our eye are bots – there are lots of accounts with profiles of famous people and Instagram celebrities, so don’t trust anyone who looks just too beautiful to use online matchmaking.
How to Join Sinder App
Joining the Sinder app is a breeze. During our review, it only took a matter of minutes before our dating account was up and running! To begin, you’ll first need to navigate to the Sinder app home page, where you’ll be greeted by a signup form. After providing your gender, age, email, location, and choosing a password, you can click the “START NOW” button. This will take you to another page that prompts you to upload a picture (which you can skip), and then a third page that contains more optional information like your “About Me” section, “Looking for,” your relationship status, body type, and sexuality.
Pros & Cons
- The interface is easy to use
- Most profile information is optional
- There is a trial available
- Free features are limited
- The trial offer isn’t free
Like most online matchmaking services, the Sinder app does have some fake profiles on the website. This is due mainly to the fact that they don’t require any form of verification during the signup process. However, we didn’t encounter a lot of fake profiles and accounts during our review, and the ones that we did were easily recognizable, so this shouldn’t be a major issue for most users. The Sinder app profiles themselves provide some basic information about other members but don’t really provide specific details, so what you’ll learn from them largely depends on the user’s specific “Personality” section.
Sinder App Site Reviews
“The Sinder app reminds me of Tinder, but I like that I can use it on my laptop. Mobile dating isn’t really my thing.”
Jason, 19, Binghamton, NY
“There’s nothing really special about this dating site, which isn’t a bad thing. It works well—even I could figure it out!”
Sheila, 27, Charleston, SC
“Online dating is pretty big for the TS community where I live, so I had to give it a shot. So far, I’ve met three matches using Sinder!”
Tommy, 31, McKinney, TX
The Sinder app dating site doesn’t bring anything new to the online dating world, but it uses the same quality general layout that works well on so many other sites. During our review, we were pleased to see an active community of singles on the Sinder app, but we felt that the limited free options made an upgrade necessary to really use this site to its full potential. That said, we think it deserves a positive rating overall. If you don’t mind investing a bit of money into your online dating experience, getting through an army of bots, and the service being a literal copy-paste, then the Sinder app may be considered!
